How does the free trial work?

Every new family gets 14 days and 2 free stories to try Oli — no credit card required. When the trial ends nothing auto-charges, because there's no card on file. If you want to keep going, add a card and subscribe to Oli Storyteller.

What counts as a story?

A story is one personalized audio adventure — narrated end-to-end, built around your child's age, interests, and the language you choose. Typically 3–6 minutes of audio.

What happens to credits I don't use this month?

Accepted Answer

Unused credits roll over indefinitely for as long as your subscription is active. If you don't make all 8 stories in a given month, the remaining credits carry forward — use them next month, or the one after. They're yours.

If a story fails to generate, do I still get charged a credit?

Accepted Answer

No. A credit is only consumed for a successfully delivered story. If generation fails for any reason, the credit is released back to your account automatically.

How does Oli make a story personal to my child?

When you set up your family, you tell Oli each child's age, interests, and the language you'd like their stories in. Every story is built around those details — the characters, the setting, and the whole world of the story are shaped around your child.

Can I make stories for more than one child?

Yes. One subscription covers your whole family — add as many children as you like, each with their own profile, interests, and languages. The credits are shared across the family.

Can one child have stories in more than one language?

Yes — no separate profile needed. Add a language to your child's profile and pick which one you'd like for each story. Their name, age, and interests carry across every language.

Can Oli mix two languages in one story?

Yes. A story can be mostly in one language with the one your child knows best gently woven in. It's optional — most stories stay in a single language.

What if a story doesn't land for my child?

Email us at hello@oli.family and we'll make it right — regenerate, tweak the brief, or issue a make-good credit, whichever fits best. We read every email.

How do I cancel?

Anytime, from the Stripe Customer Portal linked in your account settings. You keep access until the end of your current billing period — no cancellation fees, no questions.

Do you offer refunds?

We don't refund past charges, but you can cancel anytime and keep access through the end of the billing period. The 14-day free trial (2 stories, no card required) is designed so you can fully evaluate Oli before paying anything.

What payment methods do you accept?

Major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) via Stripe. Depending on your region, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and local methods like iDEAL or SEPA may also appear at checkout.

Is tax included? Will I get a receipt?

Yes — $14.99/month is tax-inclusive worldwide, so the number you see is the number you pay. Stripe emails a receipt after every charge, and the Customer Portal keeps a full invoice history.

Every story passes multiple safety checks and age-appropriateness review before it reaches your child. No ads, no dark patterns, no third-party trackers in the audio experience. Built by a parent, for children.

What data do you collect about my child?
